My husband and I have been going to The Pear Tree since we started dating as teenagers, and still head there at least once a year for kid-free date nights. Our lives have changed significantly over the past eighteen years, but the service and quality have remained top-notch. A great restaurant with a really cosy, warm atmosphere. Were there during our honeymoon and the staff was really pleasant. The food was very good, if a bit pricey. Tried one of the BC wines and was surprised by how good it was. Service could have been more attentive but was sincere and friendly when we got it. Would recommend you try it if only for the atmosphere and the food

I have been here twice now. Once we were a table of two and the most recent time with a large group. Having a standing menu angled so you can read it to choose your meal is kind of neat. Allows them to update their menu easily. We had the assiette campanarde, rabbit, special beef cheeks and creme brûlée to finish it off. The food was delicious and well presented visually and the service very good.
