I have always wanted to try Milestones and finally went today for lunch as it is convenient to my hotel. If the bruschetta is any indication of the taste of their food, I will definitely be back! The lunch combo is a perfect way to try two dishes. The salad could have used more toppings, particularly the spicy glazed pecans but the vinaigrette is pleasant with the remaining greens. I love the fact that the bruschetta is on flatbread. Lots of goat cheese and great balsamic reduction! No need for dessert with this stuff! Katsura is tucked away in a separate, but connected, building right beside the main building of the Prince Hotel. The food here is very good but only slightly better than the cheaper places in the area. The teppanyaki tables are good. The sushi is fresh. The prices are high and the portions are not particularly large. So why would someone choose this place over its cheaper competitors? It's the decor and the service that makes this place stand out. From the moment you step in out of the snow, you are surrounded by tasteful Japanese decor. In the main dining area, the place is elegant, simple and to the point. The design allows large groups to eat in semi-isolation. This is the restaurant you impress your dining partner, be it a business meeting or a first date. Read more
